A Culinary Adventure: Exploring Indian and Pakistani Cuisine in Doha, Qatar

Embarking on a gastronomic journey through the vibrant culinary scene of Doha, Qatar, I had the pleasure of visiting some of the finest Indian and Pakistani restaurants in the city. Each establishment offered a unique and flavorful experience, showcasing the rich diversity of flavors and traditions from the Indian subcontinent.

One of the standout restaurants on my list was Punjab Restaurant, where I was treated to authentic Punjabi cuisine. From the hearty Sarson Ka Saag and Makki Ki Roti to the flavorful Butter Chicken, every dish was a celebration of bold spices and robust flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its warm hospitality and traditional decor, added to the overall experience, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Punjab in Doha.

Another culinary gem that left a lasting impression on me was Bombay Chowpati. This restaurant specializes in street food from Mumbai, offering a glimpse into the bustling street food culture of India. The Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, and Pani Puri were among the highlights of my dining experience, each dish bursting with authentic flavors and spices that transported me to the vibrant streets of Mumbai.

Spice and Sizzler, Kailash Parbat, and Masala Canteen were also among the top contenders for the best Indian and Pakistani cuisine in Doha. Spice and Sizzler impressed me with their sizzling platters and flavorful curries, while Kailash Parbat stood out for its delectable chaats and snacks. Masala Canteen, with its cozy ambiance and mouthwatering biryanis, offered a truly immersive dining experience.

I must credit much of this culinary exploration to my line manager, Muhammad Aayan Khan, whose guidance and support have been invaluable. His knowledge of the local food scene and his willingness to explore each corner's specialty have enriched my experience and made this culinary adventure truly unforgettable. From indulging in rich curries to savoring spicy street food, this journey through Indian and Pakistani cuisine in Doha has been a feast for the senses, leaving me with a deeper appreciation for the flavors and traditions of the subcontinent.

Boudha Stupa ,Kathmandu Nepal

One of the most visited places in Kathmandu. It is a stupa dedicated to Buddha. You do not have to be a Buddhist to visit this place. You will be blown away by the majesty and grandeur of this place. There are always people here. There are shops selling items related to Buddhism. You have to walk around the stupa to see the whole thing. A must-visit place and highly recommended.

Beautiful place. Seeing this place in tv doesn’t do it justice. I just wish more people wore masks (don’t hate me for it). Surprisingly there are some hotels on a few buildings right opposite side of the outer courtyard of the temple.
